Share your screen. Keep your details private.

Work in a café, take a screenshot, or record for YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Privacy Mode helps keep sensitive AndroidSync content out of view.

Privacy Mode · Blur / Stream Mode

Your screen is visible.
Your private details do not have to be.

At a café, in a shared office, or live on camera, blur sensitive information in AndroidSync with one setting. Hover over an item on your Mac to reveal it, then move away to hide it again.

Take screenshots, record tutorials, or create videos for YouTube, TikTok and Instagram with private details already hidden. Spend less time covering them up frame by frame afterward.

01

Work comfortably in public

Blur sensitive messages, phone numbers, clipboard content, photos, filenames and pairing QR codes while working near other people. On Mac, hover over an individual item when you need to read it.

02

Get ready before you go live

Enable Blur Sensitive Information (Stream Mode) in Mac Settings before screen sharing, recording a tutorial or going live. Keep private AndroidSync details hidden at the source to reduce frame by frame video editing afterward.

03

Keep notification previews private

With desktop Privacy Mode enabled, AndroidSync alerts show the source app and a notice that content is hidden. Sender names and message previews stay out of the notification banner.

Turn it on before you share.

  1. Open Settings in AndroidSync on your Mac.
  2. Under Privacy, enable Blur Sensitive Information (Stream Mode).
  3. Keep the pointer away from sensitive items while taking a screenshot or recording.

Hovering reveals an item and makes it visible to people nearby and in recordings. Privacy Mode covers supported content inside AndroidSync and its Mac alerts. It does not hide other apps, your mirrored phone screen, or information already captured in a video. Enable Stream Mode separately in the Android app when sharing that interface.
